Excellent, so you are going to have an antivirus program AND viruses. :-)

Hi Howard,

Actually it is a version of an antivirus programme that is no longer
being updated AND viruses :)

Putting aside for a moment the mention of crack sites, a "30 day
trial", with *signature database version 1.996* indicates the latest
version of a fully supported nod32 v2.12.2. Yesterday's update to
the signatures in my nod32 indicates:

"Virus signature database version: 1.996 (20050210)".

So, while I'm all for shooting down attempts at piracy, and all the
little nasties that can come along with that sort of program
acquisition, I'm also all for a bit of "accuracy in reporting" as
well. :-)

Had no problem updated the 1.996 (20050210)".

Google will be pleased to know they are a "crack site"

In order not to be holier than thou all I will say is if there is only
one application on your computer that should be fully legit it has got
to be your security stuff.

You had better go and buy the real McCoy or it will end in tears.

Pleased to see you like accuracy. OP did not mention Virus signature
database version but "NOD32 verion 1.996" I was responding to a sub
version 2 of NOD32 Check this out from
