NOD32 v.2.7: Firewall?

I'm thinking about replacing my NIS 2006. I've been reading great things
about NOD32. But, if I install it, will I also need to install a
standalone firewall?

Nod32 is a standalone AV. It's not part of somehimg, like what NIS 2006
is doing. You'll need a standalone personal FW solution to run with
Nod32 on the machine.

Remove NIS, re-install only the Firewall part (Don't install the AV part)
and install NOD32. Firewalls change very little over a 3 or 4 year period.
The one you already have will work fine.

You don't need to do anything of the sort. Do you want someone to tell you
to?

If you're worried about malware getting on your machine without your
knowledge, the battle is already over.
