My mailbox is quite full of messages, previously cleaned from NOD32
which had deleted the attachement. Is there any way to set NOD32 to
delete whole message and not only infected file within?

Thanks for your time, I'd really appriciate any help.

You can use Mailwasher (free use Google) to view emails at the POP3 Mail
server before pulling them to the Inbox of your email client program. I
use Outlook and Outlook Express which I have taken them out of their Auto
Send Receive emails at Start-up and Send Receive Emails on a Time Basis
status. This prevents them from just showing up in the Inbox or being
sent from the Outbox without my approval. This way I and NOD32 don't have
to deal with the infected ones coming to the machine.

One has to use the SEND/RECEIVE button to send or receive emails. Since I
know just about 99.9% of the emails are junk or have a virus, I just use
Mailwasher to delete them at the Pop3 Server and wait for the next batch
to show-up for the next deletion. This works for me and the emails never
reach the machine, but you may be using a different email client program
and may need a different approach.

I use NOD32 too and it doesn't have the feature you're looking for that I
know of.

As an alternative to Mailwasher, you could also try the free POP3 Scan
Mailbox and use it to view and delete your emails on your ISP's server, if
you don't like the look of them. Just another option.
