Every day i use nod32 to scan my hd. When it detects a
virus i hear a "ping" but it keeps on scanning. I have to backtrack
to find the virus. It appears i have a configuration problem. Where/
how/what do i do to make the scan stop so that i can clean/delete
any viruses?

You can depress the Help Button Scanner Setup/Action on the NOD32 Control
Center screen.

Select clean instead of scan when you scan.

Before scanning, open NOD32 Control Centre, then

Resident modules and filters/AMON/Setup/Actions Tab - select appropriate
actions and OK

repeat with DMON too if you wish.

You should in this way get NOD32 to either stop each time it finds a
suspected infection and ask you what to do next, or automatically attempt
to clean it.

Cheers,
