I have NOD32 installed on one OS (Win2K) on a Win98/NT4/Win2K
multi-boot PC.

Does anyone know if my license is good for all 3 OSs?

I posted here rather than contacting Eset directly because other may
have a similar situation.

I think you might have trouble with this if you were to put this in front
of ESet. However, what they don't know won't hurt them if you know what I
mean.

I'd have though it was fine being on the one PC.....afterall, you can only
use one instance at a time.

I don't know you might be right. Maybe, I'll drop a line to Eset tech
support and find out for sure.

Thanks for the feedback. As a I mentioned, I thought that it might be
an issue some other user might run across. I sent a message to Eset
after I thought about this a little more. Here's their response:

"As only one could possibly be in operation at a time, go right ahead.

Just use the same user name / password to download the two different
versions.

Thank you for using NOD32!

Thanks for your feedback. I know I'll have no problems in doing this if I
need it.

Heh-heh.

Assuming you'd even get a reply from Norton, I wouldn't expect them
letting you do that!

I used Norton AV from 1995 until last fall but it wasn't always used
as my primary AV program. Dr Solomons was my favorite up until the
bitter end. Now I like NOD32 even better.

I used just about every flavor of NAV from 2.0 to 2003. Multiple
installations on the same PC wasn't a problem until NAV 2003. After
installing NAV 2003, I rolled back to NAV 2002 because the licensing
scheme for NAV 2003 was a problematic resource hog!

As my Norton subscriptions expired, I switched over to other AV
programs. At the end I only had NAV 2002 running on my E-mail PC. The
Norton proxy E-mail checker saved me a lot of time by blocking bulk
E-mail attacks that were frequent events several years ago.

Last fall I switched that last NAV PC over to NOD32 and I've been very
satisfied since then. I recovered almost 400MB of disk space when I
uninstalled NAV 2002!

I've been buying more NOD32 licenses as my other AV subscriptions
expire. I should probably bite the bullet and get a 5 pack.
