NOD32 no longer deletes infected attachments

About a week ago I registered NOD32. I've now noticed that it no longer
seems to be scanning and deleting incoming attachments even though I've
set it to do so. Has anyone else had this problem and what solution
might there be?

Thanks,

Check the compatibility setting in the IMON setup. As you're using TP it
needs to be in the middle position to avoid problems with receiving
mail, but if you've set it to the far left position (maximum
compatibility) it won't intervene in incoming mail at all.

Thanks Phil.

I've played with all the settings and even told IMON to "append
notification to all email" but it just doesn't seem to want to get
involved. I'm also running K9 but this shouldn't be an issue as before I
registered NOD the combination was working fine.

The appending of notifications definitely doesn't work with TP.

A configuration issue with K9 seems to ring a bell. I'm in a bit of a
rush at the moment, but you could try searching this forum, and if that
doesn't bring up anything, you might want to ask the question there.

Does too. ;-)

The solution was to add the port K9 is using (9999 by default) to the
list of ports NOD scans. I guess in the installs of registered NOD and
(frequent) K9 upgrades the proxy sequence got lost.

Just tried it again and you're right. Last time I tried it, I started
getting spurious emails, consisting of gobledegook with no headers,
appearing in my inbox.
