Using the scanner in NOD32, I encounter the following eror message in blue
letters:
"Error occured while scanning MBR sector of the third physical
disk. Error reading sector."
I have two disks, one with four partitions and one alone.
C,E,G and F are part of the partitioned disk and D is by itself. Which is
the third one and how can this eror be fixed, if at all possible? Or can it
be ignored, since it doesn't cause any problems whatsoever.?
My Registry Mechanic does't detect anything wrong.

Harry, old and mystified.

Check in device manager under disk drives. There may well be a removable
drive listed that Windows interprets as a fixed drive. In my case its a
memory stick slot. It can be safely ignored.

Under disk drives the third disk is the removable floppy disk (NEC Generic).
If Windows interprets that one as a fixed drive, it doesn't show in any one
of my two diagnostics, Aida32 and Fresh Diagnose. All drives are in the
right place, but in the wrong sequence, when Windows reports them under "My
Computer".
It probably is best to ignore this little "beauty mark".
Thank you for the tip, Jim.

Harry.
