I use NOD32 as my main antivirus program & BitDefender
as an online antivirus scanner. I've noticed something
interesting. NOD will scan about 81,000 files &
BitDefender will scan about 94,000 files.

Possibly (probably) because they are different products which have
different parameters as the default scan.

Adjust those in NOD32, and you'll find it can scan a whole lot more, I'm
sure.

Did you configure NOD to scan all extensions or use the default
settings?

An imperfect plan executed violently is far superior to a perfect plan.

Yes .... and?

What about archives etc?

I really shouldn't worry about it TBH.

NOD is a good enough AV solution that if there is anything malicious on
your system, combined with a good firewall, spyware killer etc, it'll
deal with it.
