Does anyone have experience with NOD AV by ESET?

How does it compare to Norton?

I cannot say that Norton is a bad product, but I'll tell you that its
LIveUpdate killed Norton AV on my machines duing its update process where I
had to reinstall Norton a couple times. That was it for me and Norton.

I have been using NOD32 since then and have been happy with it. The updates
are regular and the speed of NOD32 in scanning is faster and it uses less
resouces than Norton. It has knocked down all the crap that has managed to
reach my machines, which has not been much thanks to Malwasher. <g>

Nod32 v2 is very good and it does scan fast. It has never let me down like
AVG has a few times. As for Norton's I put my brother onto NOD32 and he was
running Norton's. once node was loaded it discovered he was living with
several viruses under Norton's.

My main issue with Norton's is not it's ability to be good at it's job but
at the fact it is slow and uses so much system recourses to do it.

Anyway that's my few bobs worth.

It's worked for me. Is far less bloated than Norton.

Thanks for the 3 positive comments/ I have Norton, but un-installed it and
just purchased NOD32.

Norton is pants. Clagged my PC when it wasn't busy crashing it.

Been using NOD for 3 years now with no probs. Seems to do what it says on
the tin.
