No Windows Logon Screen

Help just upgraded my windows xp and when it reboots the
logon screen just display a blank black screen and
nothing can do done.

Try reinstalling again still the same problem. Anyone can
help, please.

Did you perform the upgrade compatibility test to make sure that your
PC will run XP? It was an option on the XP CD. Try booting into Safe
Mode by pressing F8 right after the POST check. You may have a video
card problem.

Restore the pc to a previous point.
Its an option when you press F5 when starting the PC.
(last known good configuration sometimes works too)
