no wheel scrolling in address book

Using the wheel on my Microsoft Trackball Explorer does not
scroll the contact list in my address book. Outlook 2002
w/ SP3. How can I get scrolling to work? Thanks!

If you select the first column of the list (which sometimes is blank
and other times shows a paperclip) with you mouse, then it scrolls. I
find this annoying, but have managed to deal with it. I believe it
will only scroll 3 lines at a time, regardless of your mouse wheel
settings though. I wish I could find a "fix" for this little
"feature"!
