No webpage images load in IE

When I sign on to IE and go to any web page none of the
web page images load up. They will show if you left click
and select show picture but nothing beside that. I am
sure all of my settings are good, such as the show images
check box and all. I installed the latest version of IE
to possibly fix the problem and nothing. I also updated
my video drivers, downloaded a Java and adobe reader
update, along with an active X update. I have run all
utilities including virus software to check for viruses
and nothing. I am lost on what to do next. My OS is
ME,huh yeah I know!, cable modem, Pentium 3
1.5Mhz......64MB Nvidia Gforce 3 card...yada yada just to
draw a picture. Some one please offer a sugggestion!
