No Web tab available in the customize desktop area

N

Neal Bauer

I like to use the web tab to set up my desktop, but I
have one computer that the entire Web tab is gone, so I
have no way of putting web content on my desktop. I've
updated my video drivers, put all the patches and fixes
on, but its just not there.

Look in the right pane for values called NoActiveDesktop and
NoActiveDesktopChanges. If found, they should be set to 0. If not, then
double click each entry and set it to 0. If they don't exist, right click
in the right pane, select New, DWord value and name them as above. Leave
them at 0.
