I have searched the Microsoft knowledge base and deja for my problem, to
no avail. I hope this is the right forum for this message, if not I would
appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction.
We have a peer to peer network of approximately 25 windows machines, about
half win 98, about half win 2000 with a couple of win xps. Two of our
users, both using windows 2000, receive no warning message when they shut
down that other users are connected to their computers, causing the other
users computers to crash when they attempt to save their work. I updated
the win 2000 machines to service pack 4, and checked their network settings,
but could not solve the problem.
Any suggestions?
-Thanks.
