No Video

I just upgraded this computer from Win 98 to XP, and now none of my games will play in full screen mode, and microsoft's "tech support" guys are pretty useless. I need some real help

Basically, I can't play any game that runs in Full Screen Mode, and this includes games that are 4-5 years old (about the same age as my computer). They played just fine on Win 98. I have a nVidia GeForce2 MX 400. I have followed all of the suggestions from Microsoft, except for reinstalling XP because its a pain in the ars

I have tried running the games in various modes, sizes, refresh rates, but the only thing that works is running them in a windows mode.

Any suggestions?
 
Nope. The computer came installed with 98, and the disk
is long since gone.

And the games range from 5 years old, to 1 year old.
