When playing a video using Windows Media Player, the
output from the local computer is displayed but there is
no video on the PROJECTOR when playing any video. There
is an output image on the projector except the when
displaying a video image using the Media player or any
other type of video player.
Watching DVD movies, on the projector you can see that the
media player is loaded but without an image where in the
local computer it is being displayed.

Please help.

A common problem, well explained here by the Searp support folks:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------
Video displayed in Windows Media Player or a browser window
will show up on my PC's LCD but shows as a black box on my
external s-video device (TV/projector). The rest of the desktop
will show on the s-video device.

Windows Media Player and many other Media Players may
only display on the output chosen as the PRIMARY device in
the display properties (depending on the video codec). If you
see a video playing on your PC's LCD screen but just a black
box in the media window through the s-video output, change
the s-video output to PRIMARY and your PC's LCD to secondary
in the display properties.

Windows Media Player will Display Video in PROJECTORS

In Windows Media Player you can go to the
<TOOLS> Menu Then <OPTIONS> Then <PERFORMANCE> Tab Then
Click <ADVANCED> Button in the Bottom Then untick <USE OVERLAYS> CheckBox in <Video Acceleration> Frame. Untick <USE OVERLAYS> ChekBox in <DVD Video> Frame too.

if you find this information useful, send me a mail to (e-mail address removed) with your offers and compliments.

Wish you best of luck
