I have a Sony Handycam DCR-DVD103 and when I try to import videos from this
camera to the Windows Movie Maker 2.1 I get only a black screen plus the
audio. This happens only with the videos taken with the Handicam, but they
work OK on the Windows Media Player 10.0. What could be wrong?

Hello,

It sounds as though you are using an MPG file. Movie Maker can not handle
that file type but Media Player can...daft eh!!!

You can take a trip to www.nero.com/convert to grab a suitable file
conversion utility and read up on the subject. Its the best web site in the
world for all matters relating to Media.
