No VB Documentation for Visual Studio

I purchased Visual Basic .NET Deluxe Learning edition,
version 2003.

When I got to step 3 of the installation, the installer
couldn't find the help files on any of the included discs,
and so does not install any help whatsoever.

The text of the accompanying book, instruct the reader to
browse the help files several times, which cannot be
installed and do not exist.

Did I get burned for $120 by buying this Microsoft
product? Jeezus, even *Notepad* has a freakin' help file!

Is there any way to get at least a basic VB.Net syntax
reference installed in my "Visual Studio" or should I
return the defective product and get my money back ASAP?

I don't have a solution, but you are not the first one who reports this
problem...

Well Spike... I don't know if you got burned I paid a lot more but I didn't
opt for the Learning Edition. You can send it back if you don't want to
learn the product but before you do you might try searching Google. I ran
across a series of messages that confirms the problem and apparently some
people got the CD mailed to them.

Good point. Though, the MSDN library DVD has a full set of documentation.
Interestingly enough, the MSDN library can be distributed for free without
any problem. There is no fee, license, or royalty payment - at least that's
what I read in the license agreement last time I got my update. This is not
a guarantee, so please check with the person, if you find somebody that
might send you a copy of the latest MSDN library update. I know, this is not
the solution you are looking for, since MS should have shipped a MSDN
library with your product, since that includes all the documentation, but it
might work for now.

Try Bit Torrent, a friend got the three msdn library
VS .NET documentation discs there.
