No text or titles possible

I have just updated my WMM to version 2, downloaded from
the MS site, but have been completely unable to get the
titles and credits to work. When I click 'Done, add
title to movie' all I get is a plain light grey window
with no text.
Can anyone help please?
 
Try changing the color of the text to black. Maybe you have grey over grey

Then maybe reinstalling MM2 again over that installation. Something in your
basic setup doesn't seem right.

It's a strange bug of WMM2.

I have also tried uninstalling WMM (by right clicking on
mm20.msi and selecting 'uninstall') and then re-
installing with the original downloaded exe installer,
but I then get the warning: <Error 1904. Module
C:\Program File\Movie Maker\WMM2AE.dll failed to
register. HRESULT'>


Any idea what all this means ?

installation. Something in your
 
If it's in your Movie Maker folder, then you're not missing it, but it
didn't register in the operating system for some reason, so you effectively
can't use it.

Review the Problem Solving... MM2 Will Not Install page of www.papajohn.org
for different suggestions.
