No Task Manger

Hi I have wxp Lately It has been freezeing up
I have scan for virus with Macfee I defrag
And when nothing works I press ctrl alt delete
and the little green box comes in the task bar
but no window to end prosses some times when
I click c-a-d 15 little green boxs shows up on
the task bar but no window I have sp1 for about
7mo. It just started this Should I just do a
recovery and wipe out everything. HELP
 
can you click on the little green box and get the task
manager to maximize?
If not you possibly have some sort of virus or spyware.
Scan your system with adaware & spybot & hijack this.

No I can not get nothing Macfee has scan unless it is
