no task manager

Hi,

could you help me with this problem?
when I press ctrl+alt+delete the task manager doesn't show up on the screen, in case I would like to end a non-responding program.

Please try the registry patch at from the following web site:

Also, perform a complete virus scan of the system after updating your virus
definition files.

There are two possibilities.

1. Virus present in the system
2. Taskmgr.exe file is not present. [extract new copy from XP CD-ROM]

This symptom is caused by Viruses. It is advisable to run a full system scan. Be sure you update the anti-virus software definitions.
