No System Speaker Driver

Please HELP!! I have no sound that comes from my system speaker !! Sound
come s from my tower (cpu Unit?). I have checked and found that everything
works properly except that I have no system spaker driver??? My Device
Manager says this as I checked....Driver Provider / MICROSOFT. DATE :
07/01/2001. VERSION : 5.1.2600.2180. SIGNER: MICROSOFT WINDOWS PUBLISHER.
Driver details :
DRIVER Instance Id. APCI \ PNP0800 \ 4&102163C&0 . Could the including
this driver solve my problem?? As well, using Direct X Diagnostic Tool ,
under Sound1I reciece this message : " Failure at step 19 { User verifaction
of software HRESULT=0X00000000 } This is a after I have a Microsoft Vaidation
code number #J55xxY7 ? vaild install # 8BCD7-WRTCW-XXXXX-XXXXX-2GCB2 I
recieve all automatic updates / Ten (10) Hotfixes / Two (2) Updates / Twenty
z(20) Security Updates...Can You Help???????/

Before anything, make sure your speakers are plugged in to the proper
speaker jack and not the microphone jack, for that are most mistakes made.
Also, some speakers have volume control buttons, so check that to make sure.
Then rightclick your volumn control icon (probably next to time clock in
bottom
righthand corner of screen) and click Open Volumn Control to check if nothing
is Muted. If it is, uncheck them.
