I've just installed windows xp professional on my computer. Now my sound doesn't work at all. I don't know the first place to go to check my sound drivers or to find out where to go to change them. Please help.

It happens when the device driver of your audio device is
not there in the windows xp's list of standard audio
drivers.

What you can do is pick out your mother board CD and
install audio driver using the user friendly program. Path
of the which is genarally mentioned in the autorun.ini

Start/Control Panel/System/Hardware tab/Device Manager
Scroll down to sounds.....rightclick for info
Go to the manufacturers website and download XP compatible drivers.
