No such thing as AVM266?

If I didn't this Mobo running the PC from which I posting this
message, I could swear this board has never existed... :)

I searched through ASUS web site to see if there are any BIOS updates
or any tips that can give it a few more months (or even a year) of
service.

Nothing. Nada. 0 (zero).

What does that mean?
Is this a hint that I should upgrade?

BTW, it runs W2K Pro and still performing pretty nicely.

Look more closely. It certainly says A*7*M266... ;)

Stephan, you are absolutely right! How could I be so blind and see a
'V' instead of a '7'? :-(
