Try Acronis Partition Expert Personal 2003. I got it from a free
magazine cd. I know it works perfectly in win98. I am just about to try
it in winxp, and I think it will work alright there. It resizes the
partition without loss.

I don't know about Acronis PEP 2003, but their Disk Director Suite works
very well with XP.

For your info I have installed Acronis PEP on XP today and resized a
partition without any problem.
