Well, posting again did not help you.
Not to mention the damage is likely done - your email address in in millions
of locations now.

The answer to your question depends what Newsreader you are using. Looks
like you are using Netscape.. Ouch. Anyway.. I am sure that in the
netscape newsreader there is a place to enter your return email address for
the newsgroups - you need to change that. Edit the settings for the
newsgroup account for this particular newsgroup.

Use an anonymous e-mail address By default, when you post a question or
reply, the Don't show it option is selected under Your e-mail address in the
New thread or Reply form. This option uses an anonymous address in your
messages.

Use a modified e-mail address Use a different version of your e-mail
address that others will understand, but that spam tools can't automatically
pick up. For example, if your actual e-mail address is (e-mail address removed),
use someone(removethis)@example.com as your modified e-mail address. In this
case, the spam tools will send mail to an invalid e-mail address, and others
will know to exclude the (removethis) when they send you e-mail. When you
post a question or reply to a discussion group, select the Show it option
under Your e-mail address in the New thread or Reply form, then enter your
modified e-mail address in the Show it box.

Use a secondary e-mail account Set up or use an e-mail account, such as a
Hotmail account, that is separate from your primary account for posting to
discussion groups. When you post a question or reply to a discussion group,
select the Show it option under Your e-mail address in the New thread or
Reply form, then enter your hotmail account in the Show it box.

Sorry, it's too late. Once you post to a news-group with your real e-address
it will be scanned and used for SPAM. About the only way to really get rid
of it is change your e-address. Once you do that, in your news reader, go to
tools>accounts>properties, and enter some bogus information. You can r-click
on my post and see an example.

I don't use Netscape, but I suspect it close to Mozilla (which I use).
Right mouse click on the newsgroup account and change the "properties".
Disguise or use a fake email address. Since the spammers already
have your email, doing this change won't have much affect on volume of spam.
