I run a three OS system (Windows 98,WINME and XP) using
Partition Magic as I need to support programs written for
each, each OS has it's own logical drive, each drive is
restricted in size due to the limitations of PM.
I am not running any programs from the C: drive except
those absolutely necessary to be there (i.e. Windows and
its various needed components, and I have even trimmed
those down to those absolutely vital!)
The C: drive is 3.6 gigs in size and I regularly get the
system message "windows needs x amount to work properly"
which ALWAYS occurs after an automatic XP update is made.
Can anyone tell me please how I can locate and delete the
non-executable files (i.e. the downloads before they are
installed) as these must be taking up at least 1.5 gigs
of space which I urgently need back.
Many thanks to everyone in advance, Kellie
