No Sounds

After I've upgraded from XP Homw to XP Professional,
after encountering all the problems you all have, ie.,
rebooting, video problems, I finally got verything
finished but I have NO SOUND. I've uninstalled, re-
installed the driver for my audio device, updated my
BIOS, rolled back and NOTHING!! Microsoft and HP have
been unable to help (imagine that?). Can someone help me
please?
 
I have encountered this prob. b4. I re-installed the
sound card driver from the XP Home disc and it works!
