No Sound

It seems like I had sound from my speakers/head phones one day and then none
the next day. I can't remember doing anything different or installing
anything new. I have read other posts concerning this and have tried
everything. Start/Run/Regit/Hot_Key, etc, checking volume controls,
un-muting anything and everything I can think of, checking the plug, and
outlet, etc. I appreciate any and all help in advance. Thanks.
 
Check in your advanced properties for your soundcard for
digital output only type checkboxes. This problem
happens to me with my SB Audigy card, I have to turn
digital output on, and then turn it off again to get
sound back. Happens out of nowhere.
