What are you talking about ? My crystal ball is a little hazy.

What drive ? HD, CD DVD ...... ?

Try re-installing XP specific sound card drivers (if that's what you mean by
drive).

Having Trouble said:
I installed a larger hard drive and transferred the settings to make it
'bootable'. I didn't try the Windows Media Player until after I had
downloaded Windows Service Pack 1 and then a couple of days later SP2.
Somewhere in this process I lost the ability to hear any computer sounds.
I
have gone through all the Troubleshooting processes that I can find with
no
improvement. The media player on screen is doing everything that it
should;
however, there is no sound. What to do??????

Make sure the volume sliders are all turned up ! Seriously, make sure they
are. And also in WMP.

Cheers,
Jerry
