Hello

I just recently upgraded from Win98SE to WinXP and I now have no sound. There is a question mark beside Multimedia Audio Controller. I have an MIS 645 Ultra MS-6547 (v1.X) ATX Mainboard. The specs say the audio is Onboard AC97. The dealer who sold me my computer says that he gave me the disk to this when in fact he did NOT!! Just a bit bitter, sorry! LOL My question is where do I go from here as I'm still relative new to computers. Thanks in advance for any help
Cheers!

Download the XP specific drivers from the manufacturer's web site and
install them. Double click on the loudspeaker icone in the systray > make
sure all the sliders are up to max. Do the sam for the volume control in
WMP.

Thanks a bunch for your help Jerry. It worked like a dream! And a bonus is that I learned something. Again many thanks.
