I have used the help support centre to it's full extent
on my recently installed Windows XP Professional at home
and am having trouble with my audio. My CD Rom works when
I put in a regular music CD but there is no sound. I have
checked all sound devices and properties. My PC is
currently using Crystal WDM Audio Codec driver audio
device and checking system information indicates that all
devices are working ok including CD Rom (reads data ok).
My monitor has built in speakers - it's an LG 77M model
and I have an audio line plug from the 'out' of the
harddrive (Paragon systems Intel 466 Celeron)to the 'in'
of my monitor.
I had previously Win 98 and my system and CD sounds
worked fine. I had no compatibility issues when loading
Win XP Pro but now I have no sound. Is there anyone who
can offer some suggestions to reinstate my audio?
