I have integrated audio, just started my new computer up, but have no sound. Can anybody please help.

1. Open XP's "Help and Support" program.
2. In the Search box type: TROUBLESHOOTER , and hit enter.
3. Click on "Sound Troubleshooter".

What happened right before the sound disappeared? Software installed? A
hardware change? What have you done so far in your trouble shooting?
Some obvious things but common "gotchas" that should be checked: speaker
cables, volume control on the speakers, the mute button on the keyboard,
mute and volume settings in Volume Controls, presence of sound card in
Device Manager.
If the sound loss was a recent change, you could try using System Restore.
