Have a year-old HP Media Center with Realtek sound. Vista can't find/won't
recognize it. Drivers from Realtek didn't install (didn't say for Vista
anyway). I work by Winamp and online radio so ... any help gratefully
appreciated.

Try reinstalling the Realtek drivers. I find they fail for no good reason on
one install, and then work perfectly on the next.

No good. Downloaded Realtek Driver from HP and for Realtek (neither mention
Vista) and both won't install: I get a Setup program cann't (sic) find match
Realtek High Definition Audio INF file!" Am looking through my misc CDs to
find any Realtek driver that came with computer, but so far no luck.
Suggestions gratefully appreciated.

That site has a link to new Vista drivers for Realtek. I cant access this
site for some reason -> realtek.com/tw but that is realteks main site, which
I think if you look correctly would also have drivers for Vista to download.
But try the first link and then click on the the link the guy points out. I
had the same problem with SoundBlaster but i searched their site and
downloaded some beta drivers for Vista.

I have the same problem. Went to Realtek and downloaded the Vista drivers,
but the computer doesn't even recognize the hardware. It only recognizes the
TV boards HD audio, but not the other audio. I'm sorta at a lose at this
point.
