No sound

i recently downloaded media player 10 and since then my sound has been disabled. i get a message on start up saying yamaha ac-xg device blocked as problem with windows. How do i correct this as it was fine before i downloaded media player 10
Please help

The easiest option would be to do a system restore (under help on the start menu), as this will put your PC back to the way it was. It may be as simple as a driver update, but if you could give us the full error message that would help :)
