no sound

[windrunner]

dell dimesion 4600, with integrated sound card
windows xp sp1

everythings seems alright but no sound coming from either the speaker within the computer or external speakers that are plugged in the audio ports on back side of computer...

changed settings within the control panel...

not sure how to proceed...

any help would be most appreciated...
