I have a couple of AVI movies from the weekend taken from my digital camera
(Casio EX-Z1000). Uploaded the AVIs to the HD. Tried to add them to my
storyline within Movie maker, now when I play the file within the previoew
window, no probs. can hear sound. Once I add it to the story line, Nada.
Nothing at all. I then saved the file (need it in Windows wmv format) so I
can send it without it being too big so ppl emails box can receive it.

What the heck am I dont wrong? Once the WMV file is made, plays, and no
sound. Original AVI 1 I want reducing from 140 MB to the smaller 5 MB wmv.
Any ideas?

May be a dumb suggestion...but right click
the Audio track and make sure 'mute' is
not selected.

Could be a Codec issue....maybe installing
the Codec Installation Package would help.

Until you find a fix for the Movie Maker
problem...you could try uploading the
original files to a site like one of the following:

"YouSendIt"

"SendSpace"

"Dropload"
