What do you mean "restored"? Did you do a System Restore or did you
reinstall WindowsXP? If you reinstalled XP, then you'll need to reinstall
your soundcard drivers from one of your Utility disks or a SoundBlaster
disk that came with your PC. If you did a System Restore, your drivers
should be installed. Check: Start>Control Panel>Sounds and Audio>
Properties.

had computer completly cleaned out and when it came back i had no sound
i cnat find my utility disk that came with my pc what can i do

"Can't find utility disks"??? You've created the situation, and now YOU
must solve it. Open the PC case and look where you have the speakers
plugged in on the back of your PC. Make sure the power cable is unplugged
first. On the card is the manufacturer's brandname. You can go to their
website and download the drivers, they are FREE. With the limited info
you provided, I can only guestimate, but you could contact your PC dealer
and maybe they'll assist you.
