I recently had a motherboard and a processor both burn up. Since the
replacement of these two components with the Hyper2200 motherboard, I have
had no sound on my system, not even through my desktop speakers. I've gone
through the Windows troubleshooter with NO results in fixing this problem. I
have gone through the hardware profiles, including reinstalling and updating
the drivers with no affect. Still no sound. Anyone have any further
solutions as I have tried all that I know to try.

You state you have reinstalled drivers, drivers to what, the CD-Rom?
You will need to download the latest drivers for your soundcard to that
it is compatible with your new MoBo.

Yea, I don't have sound either, and a lightning strike killed my computer. I
don't know the company of my sound card, and when I go to the sound controls,
it just says none installed.
Help me!!!

Open your PC case, the manufacturer's name is printed on the Soundcard.
The Soundcard is where you plug in your speakers. Then you can go to the
website and download the latest drivers. They
are free.
