You haven't provided enough information to get focused troubleshooting.

Generally, check your sound hardware. If a desktop, reseat the card or
swap it out for a known-working one. If sound is onboard, make sure it
is enabled in the BIOS. If it is enabled and still not working, disable
it in the BIOS and try a pci sound card.
Hi,
1- check your Sound driver(Update it using the Cd provided or the
manufacturer Manual).
2- Use Add/Remove Hardware to find your sound card and then install it.
