no sound :(

Hey i recently installed a different version of windows on
my computer, and now my sound doesnt work. i went to
hp.com and downloaded these 2 sound things as well as a
modem. i still have no sound and dont know what to do.
please help :(

Hi,
Look into device manager and see what the sound card is upto.
Do you see yellow mark on the card?
You may need a newer driver. What version Windows, what kind of sound card?
