I have a problem when I "capture video from device" in
Windows Movie Maker 2. I can't seem to capture sound.
When I use a different program I can, so its connected
correctly. When I get to the page where I'm supposed to
select the audio device there are 2 options the first
doesn't capture the audio, when I select the second audio
device (the one that I suspect does work since I can see
the "input level" bar moving) I get the error
message "The device is not responding. Close any other
program that is using the device and try capturing
again". I have no other programs running that are using
audio (as far as I can tell) so I'm kind of stuck. Has
anyone else had this problem??? Help!

I have the same problem. I have the latest Dell with XP center edition with ATI all in wonder 9000, and a SoundBlaster live5.1 . if I use the rage theater sound as an option I get the same error as you. If is use the SoundBlaster it will work only if i bypass all the audio input jacks the come with the all in wonder and plug into the back of the sound card
However I can only use the default video size of 720x240 of I get the same error as before. once you change the video size it wont work.
I spent over 15 hrs. with Dell support and no answers. Just what I wanted to do was spend $1500 on a system to see short and very wide stretched out video.
