I tried to play music on my windows media player yesterday and couldnt. a
little red x appeared to the left of the music file and it said," Windows
Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound
device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it
might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly."
I went to the sounds and audio devices properties window to discover it says
that i have no audio device plugged in! If anyone can help me with this
problem, I would be very grateful.

Unless this has some hidden relevance to .NET, please post to a different
group.

Post your message to a group with "windows" in the description. They are at
the bottom of the dropdown list. This is a .Net programming newsgroup.
