Hi, here's my problem, please help:

I have no sound when using WMP, but it appears to be playing. System sounds
are OK and sounds are fine when using Quicktime ( so speakers/ connections
OK).

Nothing is muted; gone all through troubleshooter and device manager,
everything fine; no new drivers to be found on windows update. Sound card is
integral.

Downloaded WMP 10 earlier (think it was 9 previously) and now it recognises
the CD i put in. Oh, also can read data from CD OK.

At a loss for next step. Read previous sound posts. Please help! Happy New
Year.

Louise.

ON the taskbar near your clock double click the speaker icon and make sure
that the Wave one is not on low, if this is move this up and this should
now work if this is not showing go to

Options> Properties> And more or less tick everything on the bottom well
thats what i do and just go through everything when you've OK'd this and
make sure nothing is muted and make sure that media player is not muted or
anything.

If you do not have any sucess email me (e-mail address removed)

ok, try this. On your wmp look for: Play. Go down to
volume and check and see if mute is checked.
