no sound from internet

I can not get sound fronm the internet. I get sound from cd and other files.

I also can not got to internet options from explorer. It says no authority.
I am an administrator and should have access.

Hi Jamie

what is the exact error message which u got when you tried to open internet
option from explorer?

Try to open internet option using command inetcp.cpl
click on Start
click on Run
Type inetcpl.cpl
Hit enter
You will get the internet option windows, there you need to click on last
tab advanced.
In the advanced you can find the multimedia section which is down in the
section,
there u need find the option play sounds in webpages and put check mark for
the this option and apply. Check r u able to hear the sound after restarting
Internet explorer.
