Greetings,
My computer has after installing and running a demo of a game named 'Mafia' lost all of it's sound. I noticed the sound missing when I was going to play the game, and seeing as there was no sound I quit and uninstalled it, cause I didn't feel like playing it without sound. I now noticed there was no sound on the comp at all. All the drivers are according to the device manager are working properly. Speakers are plugged in properly. I've uinstalled and reinstalled the soundcard, still, no sound. This is a brand new computer, so no the speakers didn't die. When pulling out them you can hear they work.

So I am at a loss. Anyone know?

Try System Restore to a point where the speakers had sound. Jym

Hello,

Go into Control Panel, and double click Sounds and Audio Devices (you might
have it where the clock is also, in right down corner). Then make sure it is
not muted.

I did do that, and it restored it to that moment, but sound was still not working.
