Does anyone have a fix or suggestions for my 'sound' problem? Prior to downloading and installing about a half dozen udates from Microsoft, re-booting and powering down/up numerous times, I do not get any sounds from my PC. Prior to downloading the updates, everything was working fine. I stumbled across a way to bring the system up in a maintenance mode and when I did that, the sound was working. A message said I needed to re-start my PC in 'Normal Mode' and when I did that, I was faced with my original problem - no sound. Everything else on my PC is working fine

HELP!!!

You can do a system restore to a date when the sound was working.

Most sound problems are caused by the drivers, try to reinstall your sound
drivers.
Just a couple of idea's, hope you get the sound back.

HELP!!!!

.
It's best to only install one update at a time for this
very reason. You might find some help at this link. Good
Luck
