The function "View Slide Show"(F5) doesn't work.
No slide show is shown.
Does any know how to solve this

Hi Saskia,

Sorry you're having difficulties with PowerPoint.

This is probably due to dual monitor settings on a single monitor system.
In non-computer talk, that means that the computer you are using probably
has the ability to use two screens (or one screen and one projector). When
PowerPoint senses this, it will try to use the second screen for the Show.
The problem is that if there is not a monitor (or projector) plugged into
the second screen jack, then you will not see the show. The show is
running, but on a screen that is not being used.

The way to confirm this, is to look at the task bar at the bottom of the
screen (between the 'Start' button and the clock). When you run PowerPoint
and press F5, another PowerPoint block is added, if the show is started.
If this happens for you then the dual screen setting is probably what is
happening.

To fix this, just make sure the show is not running, click on the pulldown
menu called 'Slide Show', then select 'Set-up Show' and change the 'Multiple
Monitors' setting to 'Primary Monitor'.

This is the most likely cause of the problem you are having, but there are
others. If this does not fix the problem, please post back. Please include
the version of PowerPoint you are using and more details on your system and
set-up.
