Each time I open an database in Access 2003 I get a
message that says "The file may not be safe if it
contains code that was intended to harm your computer".
I have researched enough to know that to get rid of this
message I need to change the security settings. However,
I don't have a security tab. On 12/16/2003 at 8:58 am,
Joseph Sichelstied described a similar problem.
Eventually Paul Overway instructed him to change the
level in the registry at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0
\Access\Security
I tried to follow the instructions but didn't have a
Security folder below Access. How do I create it, or is
there another solution?
Thanks,
David
