no search function with IE6.0

using win98se and IE6.0 problem is+I cant seem to get the
search windo activated on the left side of IE. when i
click on the search button all i get is a blank screen for
the search function. can someone help me with this

snap Bob... I have asked this in a few places and the answers I've had
didn't work. I have managed to get a search in there by going here

http://www.alltheweb.com/help/tools/msie#2

and installing their search tool.

If you do manage to find out the real problem let me know please :O)

.Jim the url you posted i cant load in netscape and IE
can you please check for me and repost thanks BOB
 
Hi BoB - It's Regedit4, so should run OK in Win98. I'm pretty sure IR that
others have done so without problem, since the fix is (almost though not
quite totally) concerned with IE, not the OS.
